Foodbanks across Scotland are already reporting a greater need for their services due to rising costs of living. Jessica Masterton, Community and Communications Manager at Amey, was contacted by a foodbank in Cumbernauld that were struggling with insufficient donations for the increased demand. This inspired her to organise a foodbank drive across Amey's South-West depots. Over the summer, Amey employees donated food that was distributed to foodbanks in Cumbernauld, Dumfriesshire, South Ayrshire, South-East Glasgow and to Refuweegee. An additional £500 was donated by the Scottish Regional Hub which was split equally among the five foodbanks. A massive thank you to everyone that participated.
