In July 2023, Amey Transport Infrastructure in Scotland hosted a Fun Day at Hamilton Park Racecourse for all employees and their families to enjoy. This event was to show thanks and appreciation to our workforce across Amey’s Scottish contracts for their continuous hard work.  

At the event, employees were able to enjoy a variety of activities from football and darts to inflatable bungee netball. Later in the day, things got competitive as families battled for trophies in archery and clay pigeon shooting. The competition was fierce as employees raced to win the Kenneth Kerr Cup and the Amey Public Services team, who were winners in 2019, took the trophy home for the second time.  

Employees chose charities to attend on the day including The Baby Loss Retreat, Beatson Cancer Charity, and CHAS who fundraised through donations and raffles. With the incredible generosity of our attendees, we were able to raise a total of £1,885.76.  

A Beatson Cancer Charity volunteer won an Amey raffle prize of 4 Ball at The Belfry PGA, which was then re-donated to the charity to auction during their Beatson Ball on Saturday 9th September 2023, raising an additional £2,600.
