Volunteering at Amey  

At Amey, our employees are encouraged to make use of two Social Impact Days, each year, to volunteer in their communities. Thursday 1st June 2023 saw the beginning of this year’s Volunteer Week, with many employees across the business choosing to use their Social Impact days to support our partner charity Cancer Research and other causes across our network. 

Tracy Smith, a Landscape Architect with Amey, has spent much of her free time in the Catrine community in various roles, most recently having been invited to speak at East Ayrshire Council’s Volunteer Week celebration, which recognises volunteers across the constituency. We have been proud to support her past efforts within the Catrine community, from providing 250 selection boxes for their annual Make Catrine Sparkle event, to rounding up a team to support efforts to improve the garden at Blacklaw Primary School.
